Letters 433: Love Will Never Explain

Zsa Zsa Gabor once said:

"It was a friendship, but when you're with someone over a certain time, you fall in love."

To you whom I haven't met yet,

Here I am again for another little talk to you & I should manage to say a lot before my bedtime in this silent night.

Anyway, will you believe me that if you sing beauty, though alone in the heart of empty room, you will have an audience? We are all prisoners, but some of us are in cells with windows & some without. Often, people struggles to find life outside themselves, unaware that the life they seek is within them.

Dear you, I believed that life is just like the flower & its fragrance, they are one. The blind who deny the colours & the image of the flower, believing that it possesses only a fragrance vibrating the mind, usually ended up lost in the jungle of silence.

Well, I guess that is the reason I won't lose my faith in the justice of life. I mean how can I lose it when the life of mine is more beautiful than the dreams of those who sleep upon the fake hope?

433 letters still could not describe how much I wish you can be here with me, enjoying my beautiful life, together. But, I will never, never, never give up. Love will always sing  because love will never explain. Until then, have a beautiful life my hummingbird.

Yours forevermore,

The Half Moon Serenades.

Letters 432: Of Leaving No One Behind

Marilyn Monroe once said:

"It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."

To you whom I haven't met yet,

As I walked on the five-foot way at Chulia Street, I saw a beggar sleeping there, his shirt reduced to rags, smelling like a dead fish. At the same time, few youngsters dressed fashionably covered their mouth & nose walked passed him.

While some people may not mind as they could be used to this kind of treatment, severe ostracism as portrayed by the youngsters towards the beggar can lead to loss of self-esteem, depression & in rare cases, worthlessness. Quite often, the victim is not accepted because he or she does not fit in with the rest in terms of mindset, belief or language.

Dear you, I believed that people like the beggar, victim of any bully case, suicidal men or women & many more might just want to be heard & understood. For me, people are social beings that need a sense of belonging to feel secure & accepted. Otherwise, a person may feel that he/she has been robbed of his purpose in life.

In my life, I dared to think out of the box & you should dare to be think out of the box too my hummingbird. You should not be worried if you are rejected by others just because you are different. But as much as we want to be different, always remember, leave no one behind, for God asked us to have mercy on others.

Until then, 432 letters in 9 years still could not describe how I wished you can be here with me in my life. But as I said before, I just haven't met you yet. In spite of this, I will never ever give up on my pursuit of happiness.
