A Gift Named Loved

Mother Teresa once said:

"If you judge people, you won't have time to love them."

When people think of “love,” in most cases they think of being loved by a man or a woman they like, or by their parents or children. In other words, they think of receiving love. When they do not receive sufficient love, they suffer.

This kind of thinking is something that they have to change. If everyone wants to receive love and no one is left to give it, this will lead to a worldwide shortage of love.

A society that is lacking love, a society that is based on an attitude that love means receiving is like a world full of invalids, all lying in bed, receiving treatment and saying, “It hurts here and here! Give me more medicine! Make me feel better!” If everyone behaves like this, it will cause problems; more doctors, more nurses, more medicine will be needed. But we can practice a kind of love called “Giving Love“ instead.

It is important first to supply love. If everyone supplies love, then the world will be filled with love. You need to stop thinking only of what you can take or get.

Try and give love wherever you can. Do things for others. Before demanding happiness for yourself, try bringing happiness to others. Start by doing what you can. Practice giving love and you will find that a path will open for you. People who practice giving love have already taken the first step toward happiness.

Every day will be enjoyable, and seeing the joy of others will bring pleasure. If you can find happiness in seeing other people’s delight, seeing others achieve happiness, then you have already taken the first step to heaven.

And perhaps a groovy kind of love is a happiness away from you and your loved ones.

To you whom captured my heart, five years ago, to be your friend was all I ever wanted but five years on, to be your lover is was all I ever dreamed.

I believed that one of the most precious gift that ever come to a man in this heavenly world is a woman heart. I love you, and you are one of the most precious gift from God in my life. The day you came into my life as a lover, you were like hummingbird and honey, and the image of you blanketed me with sweetness as endless as forever.

Put it in your heart that for every beautiful moment that you experienced, there is an eye somewhere right here in Penang to see it. And for every truth words that came from your mouth, there is an ear somewhere here in Penang to listen to it. Last but not least, for every love that you shown, there is someone here in Penang to received it with open heart.

Even though you are in Malacca and I am in Penang, we are like two people connected at the heart, and it doesn't matter what you do, or who you are or where you live; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are destined to be together.

Until the day we met again, I love you so much my angel. Forever I will be your man, Rin.

With love,

Of Garden & Love

Mahatma Gandhi once said:

“To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer.”

For me, life is like a garden full of flowers. When you want to enjoy a beautiful garden of scents and explosion of visual colors, you begin with planting the seeds of flowers. Then you water, feed, and nurture them so that the seeds can blossom into a wondrous, uplifting garden of magnificent flowers.

Relationships are no different. If you want to enjoy inspired and supportive garden of love, you must first plant those seeds of love. Those seeds begin with you. You water, feed, nurture your own soul, discover your own truth and what is right for you, then that love is reflected back to you through your experiences and relationships.

The truth is that is already true. So if you want to know what is really going deep within your heart and unconscious mind, look at your life. What is the garden that you have planted? Is it time to weed your garden of limiting beliefs and stories that you think are true? Is it time to water it with nourishing, loving thoughts. Is it time to consciously plant new seeds?

If you know nothing about gardening, you would either read books to learn, or hire someone who knows what they are doing. You would enlist support in some way. Yet, when it comes to relationships and love, most people think they are supposed to know how to do it.

You know it from how you learned it, and if its not working the way you would like, it may be time to learn how to create the life you desire – enlist support in learning new ways to relate to yourself, the people in your life, and healthy, vibrant ways to engage in relationships and love.

And perhaps a groovy kind of love is just around the corner for you and the other half of your sky.

For the other half of my sky,

Did you realized that even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth that 'you owe me'? And look what happens with a love like that, it lights the whole sky.

The love that you gave to me, I cannot tell you what pleasure this gave me, because I always feel so overwhelmingly in your debt, if there can be accounts in love.

What it has been to me to live all these years in your heart and companionship, there is no phrases that can convey it. Time passes swiftly, but is it joyous to see how great and growing is the treasure we have gathered together now, amid the storms and stresses of so many eventful things since we knew each other five years ago?

Dear hummingbird, I love you. I want you to remember that where there is a love, there is life. Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song.

And together, I hope that our love will be forever.

Loving you.

The Compliments In Love

Lao-Tzu once said:

"To love someone deeply gives you strength but being loved by someone, deeply gives you courage."

Is it hard for a guy to give a sweet compliment to someone they love in their heart? I am proud to do it to the other half of my sky but a question a lot of guy have is what are the appropriate places or moments to use romantic compliments to their hummingbird?

I just want to say that romantic compliments can be used at any time, to the special someone in your heart, in any situation.

Start giving compliment to him or her everyday. Whenever you feels like you hate the world and you hate yourself and think your life sucks, you are not likely to give your special someone sweet compliments. You are in a place where you want to have a pity party and you just don’t feel empowered.

On the other hand, when you are someone who gives compliments all the time to your hummingbird, it usually means that you are happy about her, that you feel good about yourself, and your life is going okay with her.

As such, you can actually reverse engineer the ill-feeling ; you can become happier and feel better about yourself by giving more compliments, not just to her but to everyone. It can work the other way around.

Make it something you do all the time, make it a part of your life, make it a part of your personality and who you are, you’ll have no problem being complimentary. It’s not going to be too hard or too difficult, and it will be second nature to you. And your other half of sky will love you more.

Romantic compliments should never come from a place of need, but from a place of personal strength. And perhaps, a groovy kind of love is just around the corner for you and your loved ones.

Dear hummingbird, you're always beautiful in my eyes, even at the time when you just woke up early in the morning.

For your attractive lips, speaks words of angel to me,
For your lovely eyes, seek out the good personality in me,
For your beautiful hair, give the shines to me,
For your vivacious figure, makes it a wonderful hug for me.

Sometimes, you must remember that you are beautiful, not just in looks, not just in what you say, but in being just the way you are.

No matter how plain a woman may be, if truth and honesty are written across her face, she will be beautiful. And that's you in my eyes, my special sweetheart.

Until the day we met again, until the day we say our next hello, put in your heart the fact that I had fallen in love with you way before we knew each other. 344 love letters still couldn't described how much I love you everyday in my life.

Do I love you because you're beautiful, or are you beautiful because I love you? I think both is happening at the same time.

Loving you,

The Half Moon Serenades.
