The Text of Love

Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi once said:

"Love don't finally met somewhere, they are in each other all along."

Men think women are complicated while women think men are complicated. Do you believe that it is almost impossible to get your other half to get romantic again? Or for that matter to bring back that romance in your life?

Well before you let go of all hope and accept the fate that there is absolutely nothing that you can do about your love life, allow me to point out the brilliant traditional way that is:

"Text the romance back!"
It might seem far fetched but this way has proven, time and again, that a few text messages, a few special taps on that keyboard are all that you need to make sure that your romance stays alive and that the spark in your relationship is always bright.

Most men and women are so busy stereotyping the other that they don’t realize that both of them crave romance too. Maybe not as much as you’d want them to, but yes, enough to make them want to do something about it. The problem is that they are usually too distracted or too shy to express it.

Maybe they have been brought up believing that they do not need to express such emotions when the truth of the matter is that they actually are dying to want to be able to sweep you off your feet. So what can you do to change this block in your love life? A few text messages is all you need apparently. A few romantic text messages are all that you need to truly make something special.
There are various reasons as to why romance can die in a relationship but the most important one or the most prevalent one is that the two people just stop communicating and slowly the spark dies off.

When was the last time you told your partner that you loved them and did something to keep the spark alive? Text messages are special because they do in fact, churn up emotions inside of you. Not only that, they would make you want to bring back the spark and also show you how you can truly do this.

There must be skeptics running around saying a simple text message cannot do wonders of the like being expressed here, but then if a simple word can start a war, I believe that a simple word can return back the groovy kind of feeling in your love.

To you whom I haven't met yet, did you know when you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.

Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that someone is kissing every part of your body.

I am telling you some truths. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away.

And that is the love I hope I can found in you one day. I want to love you not just because you are beautiful or good or well-behaved or intelligent or popular, but I want to love you because you are being yourselves.

Until then, put in your heart the fact that I had fallen in love with you way before we knew each other. Perhaps one day, a groovy kind of love will bring us together in a special way.

For you see, each day I love you more. Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

Human Touch

Pablo Picasso once said:

"Love is the greatest refreshment in our life."

“Never having to say you’re sorry” means that you know you are loved truly for who you are. In order to give this kind of love to someone else, we first have to love and accept ourselves with the utmost loving compassion, understanding, and carry zero self-judgment.

True love is unconditional. It is transparent, where we can accept, understand, and allow the other person to make every mistake, falter, stumble, and give genuine heartfelt compassion when they are trying their best, even if their best is can be “better.”

Love carries no judgment or manipulation. Love carries no ego, or the need for ego gratification. True love is pure. It is deep, eternal, and it never dies.

There may come a time when you have to be apart from someone you truly love in your heart. Please realize that sometimes time alone is the greatest gift you can give to another. Sometimes our ego’s “want” more, and sometimes our ego’s “avoid” love. These are the ego’s delusions. They are not, however, the pure love that resides within our deepest heart and soul.

As we peel the layers of ego away, along with self-protective walls, egoistic responses, and manipulation of self to be what we think we need to be in order to be loved and accepted, it is then that we can love someone else purely. This takes great conscious effort, and the desire to grow to become so pure and heart centered, that the ego melts away.

And as times goes by, perhaps a groovy kind of true love is just a human touch away from you.

To you whom I haven't met yet, when you love someone, you know in your heart that your love never died. You feel their presence in your heart, even if they are out of your life.

Sometimes, we may not always get what we “want” in life, however, we will always get what we need in order to grow. We may not consciously ask for certain situations, but on a soul level, we brought them into our lives in order to heal, grow and learn what pure love is truly all about.

Once a man has won a woman's love, the love is his forever.  He can only lose the woman because he did not love them as if they are the other half of the sky.

I hope one day, when I finally found you, you can be the other half of my sky. Anyone can catch my eyes out there, but it will takes someone special to catch my heart and I hope that someone is you.

Until then, take care wherever you are in this universe and put in your heart the fact that I had fallen in love with you way before we knew each other. Perhaps time is the only answer for my waiting.

Live in my heart and pay no rent forever.

A Question of Love

Love is both directive and giving. I give from what I have. Therefore, I cannot love from a state of emptiness. A state of emptiness evokes need, an emotion often mistaken as love, even if the connection with another person temporarily fills that emptiness and fulfills that need.

A relationship, therefore, that is built on drawing from another will evoke emotions of jealousy, control, insecurity, apprehension, hostility, and even will provide contentment, but definitely not love.

Therefore, the only way we can love is to first be emotionally balanced, mentally strong, and rationally capable of offering consideration. As a result, any attempt to build a capacity to love must be preceded by a building of these attributes.

One cannot give from a pitcher unless the pitcher has first been filled. We can then stretch this realization to an admission that unconditional love is selfish. Before we give it, we must first give to ourselves.

Perhaps a groovy kind of love is just around the corner if we really discovered the meaning of love.

To you whom I haven't met yet, I believe that the love that we will share one day will unlock door and open windows that weren't even there before to a place where we going to play a game of our life time, and both of us winning lovingly.

For me, love is about being stupid and smart together with you and ended up laughing at each other knowing the laugh that we shared will bond our love together, making it stronger.

I hope our love will start as a friendship caught on fire, where in the beginning, there is a flame, very wonderful but often hot and fierce, yet still only light and flickering. As our love grows older, when our hearts mature, I hope you will feel in your heart our love burns bright.

Until then, take care wherever you are in this world and put in your heart the fact that I had fallen in love with you deeply way before we knew each other. Perhaps that is a groovy kind of love that we will share one day when you read it.

The definition of my love is you.

The Power of Hugs

Lao Tzu once said:
" Be still like a huge mountain and flow like a great river."

What is hug but a peaceful touch of love for mankind. What is hug but a good remedy of love when we are having problem.

Have you hugged your child today? It was a popular slogan that was coined in 1969. I think it’s time to modify the phrase to: Have you hugged your loved one today?

Most couples report the perfunctory kiss upon their greeting or departure as their most consistent form of affection outside of sex. It’s not enough. We should never mistake or substitute sex for affection.

Affection expressed through hugging is therapeutic and fulfills our basic, human need for touching or being touched. It also relaxes us and lowers our blood pressure. In essence, affectionate touching can improve and prolong our lives.

Couples should indeed put forth greater effort to be affectionate with each other. Those who do tend to report greater harmony, a closer bond, and fewer conflicts in their relationships.

Just as breathing is a basic physical need for these species, touch is a basic behavioral need and when this need remains unsatisfied, abnormal behavior is a likely outcome.

Both the hugger and the person being hugged benefit because they have the immediate positive outcome of feeling good. Hugs are heartwarming and can have the effect of leaving one energized and rejuvenated.

A caregiver’s hug accurately expresses to a child feelings of love, acceptance, comfort and a desire for closeness.

Hugging is health-enhancing because it reduces tension and stress, aids the immune system, helps with sleep, assists in building self-esteem and best of all has no negative side effects. When we open our hearts and arms to others, we inspire them to do likewise

There are many types of hugs that are given in different situations. The hugs that you see given at airports tend to be longer in duration. Hugs that are given to people that you have not seen in a while tend to be more enthusiastic.

Hugs that are romantically inspired tend to be more intense and sometimes are given back-to-front (one person from behind who wraps their arms around the other), which carries sexual connotations. Then there’s the sideways hug which is essentially a one-armed embrace that shows friendliness and acceptance.
You now know that hugs are therapeutic pills that we can prescribe to each other. They supply our souls with the nutrients of affection that we all need for our mental health, and emotional well-being. Taking the time or making the effort to give more hugs is clearly a rewarding experience for both the person giving it, and the person receiving it.

So did you hugged your loved one today? If not, there’s no better time than the present. Perhaps a groovy kind of love is just a hug away from you.

To you whom I haven't met yet, I hope one day we can see the evening sunset together and you will chase away the morning shadow in me with your heavenly eyes.

In future, I hope I will find my strength in your hugs, and in return, I will be near in your heart even when I am out of your sight, counting seconds to the time we can be together forever.

Come into my heart one day, as we can take the darkness and make it fun with a light called love and love embraced with hugs.

Until then, take care there wherever you are in this world and put in your heart the fact that I had fallen in love with you way before we knew each other.

The warm hug from me is here for you.
